"Live" Elements: Part 2

So I am in the process of potty-training my 2 year old. She does really great and has very fer accidents except... Every time I put her in time-out she decides to let it all flow! Tears and all. Talk about waterworks! Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know if she does it on purpose or if she just can't hold it? It wouldn't be so bad, but she wont wear pull-ups, or ANYTHING for that matter. She has to take off all of her clothes to go potty every 30 minutes, so needless to say time-outs are a big mess. Thank goodness for hardwood floors! lol

I want to show you all the patterned paper pack we have in the shop. You can get this whole pack for only 2.99! Click the photo to take you there.

"Love" Elements: Part 1

Wow, what a day. The kids were suprisingly good today during the funeral service. Everytime they would make a peep I would shove a gerber puff in their mouths, lol. They love their puffs! Between my two and my sister's 1 year old, they helped lighten the mood for everybody. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for my family.

I am planning an arts and crafts day with the kiddos tomorrow with fingerpaints, paper-bag puppets, play dough, sidewalk chalk, the works! Oh, and I can't forget the bubbles. Afterward we are hitting the pool! I have been working so much lately with all the new things going on with the shop, so I think they deserve it. I will make sure and take pics to share with you all! I hope you all enjoy today's freebie!

Bella Memorie needs your help with a challenge

The ABC kits are almost ready to launch, and I will be posting within the next day or two with the first download. Yay!!!

Bella Memorie is part of the Creative Team here at Pretty Scrappy. She sent me this email, and I though I would post it here. I'm sure she would appreciate your help in this challenge. Here is the email she sent me:

I need a favor please. My grandmother turned 90 years old on April 8th. We call her Grammy. Unfortunately her health has taken a turn for the worse, and I didn't have an opportunity to make a book for her yet with all of her photos. We didn't think she would make it through last weekend but she did and I feel like I have another opportunity to get this done for her to see and enjoy. I have created a challenge to help me scrap the photos from her party. While some photos are the better of the bunch, the goal is to get all photos (even the boring ones) in the book so all of the people are represented.

Here is a link to the challenge and the requirements:

Exciting things to come...

I have not posted a freebie in a couple days because I have been working up a huge mega kit freebie for you all! I will be giving away pieces each day or couple of days. There will be 3 sets, one for boys, one for girls, and one gender neutral. Look for the new mega-kits coming soon!

Brag Book Giveaway Day 18

As I was thinking of a color scheme for the next daily download I remembered an incident we had with my 2 year old last week. It was time for her to wake up from her nap, so I walked up the stairs and under her door I saw what looked like a little brown ball. As I got closer I realized it was not a ball, it was poo! I thought, Oh no! She had to go potty and didn't make it. So I opened the door and there she is, standing in front of the door with another piece of poo in her hand! She had colored all over her bedroom door with it, and it was on her arms, legs, and hands. I freaked! I didn't know what to do with her. Yuck! And get this... She says "Mommy, stinky colors!" Disgusting, but definitely a funny memory to add to her baby book and show her boyfriends when she grows up, lol! It was all I could not to crack up. I will never look at the color brown the same again.
